Scope of an Electrical Officer at Shore

10/28/2012 1:18 PM

Hey frnds, I, Joganand working as Electrical Officer/Electrician on a dredger for the past 2years, after my successful completion of my graduation in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. I would like to work mainly in core sector, but every where electronics, communication and instrumentation playing major role in leaving very less scope for electrical. (is what I feel). Kindly guide me, what subjects/courses knowing better can really help me out with latest growing technology.

You may want to go back to school. You should know why 4-20mA signals are used and why.

You should know the terms used to describe breakers, too.

You should know much more than you demonstrate with your questions here.

Go hit those books.
