10/29/2012 2:22 AM

Dear guru, Please help me to solve my problem with bearing replacement for our motor. On the motor's name plate is mentioned bearing type:NU2219-EC-C3

but in our store available type is NU2219-ECP-C3

i can't able to find the difference between those two bearings(EC and ECP), and urgently we want to replace the bearing due to abnormal sound.

anybody can help me or share online catalogue?

What is the make of your bearing? EC and ECP relate to the type & construction of cage. Why don't you phone your bearing supplier? Help share online catalogue of which bearing company? For SKF follow this link:

Bearing type NU2219-EC-C3 & NU2219-ECP-C3 are physically same & interchangeable. The letters EC stand for single row cylindrical roller bearing with a greater number of larger rollers than the original design and increased axial load carrying capacity.

The letter P stands for two integral flanges on the inner ring and a polyamide cage

Isn't the internet a wonderful source of information for those that can search?

And it's FREE!!!

How true. The sad part is that the poster, never ever furnishes, all relevant details. Even when asked for info. they either ignore or never comeback. Most of the time, we never know, what solution finally worked. What a state of affairs!

Most of the time, I wouldn't care to know the outcome of the recent crop of questions.
