Re Latency Dengue Virus

10/29/2012 11:08 AM

Once a dengue virus enters the body of a person and after the incubation period of 4-7 days he/she goes through DF, DHF or DSS. Whilst infected if a mosquito bites the patient it gets infected for its life (usually 28 days max). Correct me if I am wrong, that is what I understood so far from all the sources. My question is after a patient recovers from DF,DHF or DSS, how long does he/she posses the capability to infect an (innocent) mosquito? !!
