To Find the CC of an Engine

hi guys,

My question is about cubic centimeter of an engine like 800 cc or 1200cc

plz inform me any one that what the basic formula to calculate the cc of an engine

plz help me in solving this problem.

bore x stroke. bore- pi [3.14] x radius[of bore] squared . your in the wrong thread.

The volume in cc of the space between the bottom dead centre & top dead centre of the piston.

Cylinder bore is diameter, divide by 2 for radius then square, and multiply by Pi. This gets you the cylinder cross sectional area. Multiply this by the stroke legnth of the piston and you will have the displacement volume of that cylinder. If the engine has multiple cylinders of the same dimensions, multiply the volume by the number of cylinders.

If you want displacement in CC all measurements should be in CM.
