How to Calculate Transformer Losses

11/29/2012 11:01 PM

Dear All,

I have a distribution trasformer - 500 KVA, 22000/433 Volts, ONAN, Dyn11, Impedance = 4.97, Delta/Star connected. Its resistance values are - RY= 10.21 Ohms, YB = 10.26 Ohms, BR = 10.27 Ohms, ry = 6.35 mOhms, yb = 6.37 mOhms and br = 6.40 mOhms. I need to calculate the load losses at different load currents (on HV side, from 1.0 Amps to 13.12 & on LV side up to 668 Amps).

Any formula for this will be very useful, which can be applied to other transformers also.

Thanks...!

well i made the personal math research at the university time - i knew most related formulas by heart - dropped smoking for the time - such increases your new information memory "RAM" to 95% from 5% - 1900% more efficincy

THE LANGUGE in such is not english nor the native but MATHEMATICS (jerks)
