Spam Posts

Would it be possible to block any posts that have a brand name in the title? With a lookup list that you could add new brands to?

Just a thought because I find it so irritating that there are so many posts just recently with Jordan or Nike in the the title and although we may discuss a particular brand at times, we don't necessarily have to put its name in the title.

Any other ideas on how to stop this problem?

Al

P.S. I keep reading $low as SLOW must be something to do with the people who post these ads

Hi

We're working on something to help (we do seem to have one rather persistent shoe salesman) but in general, I think the community (you folks!) are doing a great job of reporting the bad posts (using the "Report!" button) and the CR4 editors are on top of them pretty quickly. Overall I think we're keeping CR4 relatively free of spam, but we'll try to do better.

Thanks
- Mark

You should know! You're our star "reporter"! We keep talking back here about how to acknowledge your efforts, but don't worry... we'll come up with something.

Thanks
