Amcor Aircon Unit XF-9

Hello,

I have an Amcor Aircon unit XF-9 which worked fine in summer. Now, I would like to use it as a heater only but nothing happens when I set it to heat.

Is this unit a cooling unit only?

I tried to find the manual on the web without any luck. Could someone please point me in the right direction?

If it is a heat pump during winter it works in heating mode. If it is only an air conditioner you can check whether any strip heaters are provided. In that cast it will provide sensible heating. You need to check the supplier manual.

Open it up to see if there any solenoid valves in the refrigerant circuit.

If there are none then it is not reverse cycle capable. Live with that.

If there are some then check the wiring at least or take it to a refrig mechanic to get it sorted.
