Please take the CAPS off. It is deemed offensive/shouting using caps.

What corrosion where??? As usually technology evolves different in different areas.

Need more input.

What is the use of this steel? Where is it used and what is the environment that might corrode it?

The newest technology is maybe a Supa Paint. But since we dont know where you use your steel it is useless to make an advice.

More data please!

One last try to clarify the original question so we can attempt to answer it.

What type of steel and what is it being used for (what is the application)?

Is this for a gas pipeline with the steel pipe buried underground, steel framework in a chemical plant, the steel container of a pressure vessel, is the steel suffering from a cathodic reaction, is it the steel hull of a ship, etc.

There is not a one-solution-fits-all answer.

Can you please provide more information on the steel, the specific function the steel is performing and the application and environment.

This forum is not the proper place for this discussion. You should have it with your steel supplier.

Gasoline reservoirs cost millions of dollars to construct, have massive liability issues, engineering, permitting from at least 5 different organizations, and certifying to them to deal with as well.

We cannot do your job for. Hire an engineering firm.

If that sounds harsh, it's the truth.

If you are trying to "treat" steel corrosion that has already happened, you may be SOL depending on it's use, but if you are trying to prevent it, that is a whole different story.

Chitra Machineries have some good rustproofing products. Even think Halfords stock some of them. Ideally the area should be wire brushed, some anti rust product applied and then rust proof undercoated and painted again.
