Drivemoni Connection

Dear experts,

I have Siemens materdrives VC, since we don't have the power for that drive, can we connect the PMU to my VC to set up the parameters while I am waiting for the power or I should waiting for the power to connect my PC to the drives. Can I just connected 24VDC to the that drive to connected to my PC or I need to do something else?, please help. Thanks

Not sure about Siemens but some brands will let you connect and explore the parameters. But that is why they provide a manual !

Dear member

In usual types of drives there is no control voltage in your access so there is no terminals for this mention.You can only connect digital and analogue input(0-10v-4-20ma)or pulse input -digital stop and start -input serial and DC bus via rectifier (for 3 ph380v you need app 570vdc).
