Transformer Vector Grouping

Hi all,

I would like to know the difference between two vector groups for example Dyn11 and YNyn0.

What causes the 30 degrees phase shift?

and why do we require the phase shift?cant we simply use all transformers like Dyn0 or YNyn0?

Happy New Year. If you would like to know,why don't you read or study the fundamentals of Electrical Engineering. Why do you want to get this spoon feeding.This is an International forum where it is expected that you ask such questions which is expected to be answered by experts on the subject.
