System Certification

01/09/2013 11:19 PM

Normally all DCS and/or SIS (Safety Instrumented System) are certified by independent certification body. More common is by TUV Rheinland. But I found 1 particular system is certified by TUV Nord. Is this technical decision or commercial decision? From end-users viewpoint will it make any different?

If the end user does not specify this then it probably does not make the difference.

What is your inhouse policy?
