Material As Per ASME Section II Part A And D & Design Code Ad Merkblatter

What are the necessary steps required to design equipment as per AD-2000 code and material used as per ASME section II part A & D?

Duel certification is neccesary of materials?

ie SA240TYPE304 material is to be duel certified with 1.4301

For designing the equipment, no need of dual certification. Allowable stresses can be established as per section B for any material. However if you want to certify the vessel with CE marking , you need prepare PMA and take approval of inspection agency
