Plastic Shredder Designs

Wouldn't it be better to let the recyclers do the shredding, so they can separate the different types of plastics into separate piles? My thinking is that there are some plastics, like certain kinds of soda bottles that can be shredded together, but you might not want to mix-in certain other types of plastic bottles, and you might not want to mix-in plastic bags or other kinds of plastics.

-- Unless, of course, you know in advance from the recyclers what can be shredded together and follow their guidelines precisely.

with proper research one should be able to identify the type of plastics and manufacturers appreciate if they get pebbles to manufacture if they have been properly sorted

That's a very nice thing to do.I always support recycling in any manner I can.Recently I came across a company Replas who work for plastic recycling and prepare stuff like Sleeper,garden panel,beach access,fence from it.
