Wind Load Calculation for Cantilever Canopies

01/22/2013 1:16 AM

Dear Sir,

I want to design a steel frame for a fabric parking shade, please help me in this formula as the wind load is F= Cp*q*Bay Width, I have the values of Cp and wind pressure q but when I am using the Bay width the load is coming out high, so is there any factor to be multiplies with the bay width, suppose my baywidth is 9m c/c and there are total 4 bays cp is 0.4 q is 308Kn/m2 , so what will be the wind load on the main frame?

First, you need to tell us where you are and what is the applicable building code(s) that you are using....
