deposit shall be indicated on the WPS and on the PQR. Designation of nominal
chemical composition may also be by reference to the AWS classification,except for the "G" suffix classification, the manufacturer's trade
designation, or other established procurement documents."
A s per this clauses, Can I accept the result taken from Arcmet-8000 optical emission spectrometer (spark type PMI equipment) as chemical analysis? The result contain all the elements including carbon as per corresponding SFA number in ASME Sec II Part C requirement. Or should I follow other method for Chemical analysis?If,so pls give the details of the test to be conducted.
