Cable Derating Factors

dear friends, I want to lay 9 duty cable (multi core) on cable tray , the cable tray is perforated unarmoured cable XLPE insulated PVC sheated what could be the arrangement or what will be the derating factor as per NEC codes .please give me the reference. thanks sam.

It is not sufficient data in order to state the ampacity. You have to choose how you will install the cables according art. 392.22.For instance ,let's say the cable tray is dedicated only for these 9 cables: 3*C [rated 2000 V or less] XLPE insulated PVC sheathed cables, and sum of diameters of all cables will not exceed cable tray width [392.22(A)] then you can follow the 310.15(B)16 Table for 90 dgr.C [copper column 3 or aluminum column 6].
