I haven't checked, but wasn't it Darwin's day recently? I don't recall seeing anything on Google doodle about that...

I do like Ferris wheel on Valentines day...the man-made makeout point!

I think the anniversary of the Origin of Species was Feb. 12. Darwin got a doodle a few years ago to celebrate his 200th birthday.

Back to the Ferris wheel - I thought it was funny that the duck took the squid out for sushi and he was not thrilled!

Yes, the whole thing is pretty clever.

The doodle team has done some great stuff... a fully functioning synthesizer being one of the more elaborate... but loads of neat interactive stuff.

I wonder if a particular team gets to work on this stuff all the time, or if they cycle through people.
