I recommend you contact Siemens about a repair. This module may still be under warranty.

You need to countercheck again the profibus cable ,its terminals and switch position. Measure also the resistance of the loop.

Information is not adequate, which other devices installed on the bus. Sometimes it happens due to configuration parameters loss any slave device also.

1.Check what deveice on network and their healthiness (PG/PC interface)

2. Take Backup and reset the CPU power supply.

3. If problem still persists then replace hardware.

Please open your PG and access online hardware status & trouble shooting, mostly the profibus cable, connector or splitter maybe defective. check all IO & IM modules, some time you need a profibus signal analyser for trouble shooting,

Hello

Have you changed an I/O card recently? Check the hardware configuration and ensure that the part numbers match. When the part numbers in the program match the part numbers of the I/O cards in the field, do a hardware download. Also ensure that all profibus addressess are correct and that there is no duplication. Ensure that the switch on each ET station is in the correct position.

Please let me know if this sorts out your problem.

Thank you.
