Scroll Compressor Vs Piston Compressor

i would like to know we can replace the scroll compressor (copeland) 6.25 TR instead of piston compressor ( Bristol - USA) for Zamil Package AC Unit old type no model & serial, more than 10 to 12 years. kinldy comment what will happened when replace scroll compressor,
