Not Loading Pages

When I open up CR4 and then try to open a discussion site, it loads and I can see the text for about 2 seconds then it errors out with an internet explorer error that tells me it cannot open the page. Would this be a software problem on my part or is there a link problem with CR4? About 50% of the pages work and the other 50% don't. Any ideas?

I am using Windows XP with Internet Explorer 8 on our company server system through Comcast as our provider. If I select the forum thread it fails about 1/2 the time, but if I go into the CR4 Section and select the same thread from there, it normally works OK. I may have possibly identified what could be causing it. Occasionally, when I open up something with IE, the page will open, then the screen freezes and at the top in the blue header where it tells me where I am is shows a "Not Responding" at the end of the phrase. (Right now it shows "CR4 - New Comment - Windows Internet Explorer). It could be that too much memory is being used on my computer to open the thread. I'll monitor it.

I've been having problems with Internet Explorer and other websites. Try using another browser, like Firefox or Chrome, to access CR4 and let us know if you're still having trouble.

I will have a problem convincing our IT guys that I need another browser. I normally open CR4 right from my Outlook e-mail box. I haven't had the problem from home, but then I don't get on CR4 from there much. Too busy playing Solitaire and looking at other peoples Facebook stuff.
