How come it is so hard to find a hyper-link to sign-in from the CR4 homepage or from one of the daily email links? You can find 'Register' easily enough, but not 'Sign-In' for current members. It used to be easier when there was a red bar across the top.

OK, OK, I know, I'm whining.

This only is a problem when I go through and clear out all my old cookies. I don't like them when they get stale.

The login and register links still both appear in the extreme upper right of the homepage. This is where your user name displays when you're signed in.

Actually with Win-XP, IE-7 it does not appear in the upper right corner.

It does however appear on the right hand pane under "Logged In" (just below Site Directories).

It doesn't appear because you have the window too narrow, either increase the width by stretching the window out, or increase resolution....it's there you just can't see it

That image was taken full-screen - and may be the maximum resolution available for that screen. In Safari, the top bar re-sizes to window width, but occasionally a large image pushes the text width too wide to see the whole page, and there is no slider appearing to allow panning across the view.

A minor issue, but could be a solution for those who have small screens, lower resolutions and need to keep some desktop space for work-related windows.

Thank you !!!

I thought I was crazy, but here at work, we have IE7 and XP. Eventually we'll get Win7 but I'm not looking forward to that because everytime they 'upgrade' the OS on our workstations, all sorts of nastiness happens, the least of which is the inertia it takes to get used to the 'new' way of doing things and getting all our settings back to the way we want them.

This is business as usual for web designers.

They are forever changing useable websites into something quirky in their own image that needs a psychologist to unscramble. That is except Government sites ( where they are semi-useable) in which case old glitches remain because (I am told) it would cost £20000 just to examine the glitch, let alone fix it.

I used to keep contact with old colleagues through Friends Reunited but this was suddenly made unuseable by new design.

The other moan is sites that require a log in. Some require this from on an unsecure page, and then when you wish to log off, the font size is so small you spend ages looking for it.

Glitch repaired costs are justified by traffic on the site........... Or at least they should be.

Its the same with a lot of web pages. The web designers all assume that everyone thinks like them, simple for them but not so simple for others.

The log in link should now appear on the upper right of the page for those of you using Internet Explorer.

Thank you !!

Much better now. Just got back off from vacation and resisted the temptation to turn on the computer until now.

Cheers !!
