Will There Be a Separate Protection for Tie Breaker

In a switchyard of 400KV, one and half breaker scheme,Will the tie-breaker(breaker connecting two feeders/lines)have separate protection?In my switchyard only Local breaker backup is given.

Normally in a breaker-and-a-half scheme, each line/feeder will have its own protection, and each breaker (including the tie) will have its own breaker backup / breaker failure protection. If your transmission system regulations require it, you may need redundant protection schemes for reliability.
