Gas Turbine Engine Torque Characteristics

03/21/2013 11:44 PM

Could any one provide me with the typical speed-torque curve for a typical turboshaft engine (e.g. 1000 ~ 2000 HP) , as those used in helicopter ( with free turbine )? I have searched all reputable turbine engine manufacturers , these are not published in the their spec sheet.

Thanks in advance.

Maybe this declassified document will help.

Here's the GE T-58 performance curves, not sure if this is what you're looking for but this site has some good info, maybe they'll help you out.

Thanks for the link, though not providing exactly the answer I am looking for.

Seems all turbine engine manufacturers guard their engine technical info very jeaously.

Contact a manufacturer and give them your requirements or close to what you are looking for and see what they come up with. They are always eager to make a sale and the sales personnel should be well trained and familiar with the product.
