Including Pictures

04/08/2013 4:33 PM

My frustration is including pictures in my Blog. I know how to do it as I have done it many times in the past. What has changed is the ability to stay connected to the internet. I believe my problem is with those controlling the internet! I asked Cox who has my cable for phone, Internet and movies, to set me up with a less costly connection, (less than $160 per month) I strongly believe cox is no longer a friend - I now get error messages "streaming data has caused time out". I believe also that google is blaming everyone else.

Recent attempts the use the camera to put high density pictures on my blog just can't make it thru the servers. Is there a way to use PDF files to avoid these problems? Changing the find it file size of these pictures pictures makes the effort to use the blog wasted.

Sorry for all the failed attempts to address a Pictorial approach to "Units of the Pyramid". I also find it difficult to scroll so I can get to the box (Cancel/Submit).

Mr. Larry

As far as I know you cannot add a pdf file to CR4 yet. You stated you have added images in the past, but you may still find information in this thread helpful How to Post Pictures.

If you are having trouble adding high density pictures to your articles, you may want to resize the images to a smaller size before adding the image or linking to the image on the site you are referring to.

LakeGrl gave you some good information. If resizing your images isn't possible try hosting them on another server and linking to them. http://imgur.com/ is an example.

Also, you are posting in the forum discussion section of the site, not the blog section. Just a little technicality so people understand what you're trying to accomplish. (The left side of the homepage includes recent forum discussions; the middle are recent blog posts.)
