Wear Protection in a Float Glass Manufacturing Unit

Dear Friends,

If some of you know or have worked in a Float glass manufacturing unit.

can you guide on what applications require wear protection or maintenance.

interms of welding, coating etc..

For instance :

1) Wear of Glass crushhing hammers

2) Wear of anneling Lehr Roles

3) Repair of Steel at Heat treat ment furnances

etc...

Perform a search for "PPE requirements of the float glass industry".

I'm sure there will be information there.

Dear Iyn, Thanks for your answer, but i refer to Wear protection ...that is metal / mechanical wear.and tear .....need for hardfacing or ceramic coatings etc....
