Mould cloth

Anyone know what material mould cloth is made from ? we need it for drape forming sheets of perspex

Do you mean fiberglass cloth for making molds? This is typically style 1800, E glass, 16x14 pics plain weave untwisted. Cloth is relatively inexpensive, and drapes well.

This is what I use with polyester resin for making molds up to 34 feet long. Once the design is stable, then the tools will be remade using epoxy and carbon to match the shrink rate of the carbon epoxy boats being laid up.

Thanks for the reply, but what we need is a lint free cloth ( not GRP/FRP ). When drape forming Perspex windows, mould cloth is used to stop any print through on the perspex and also to stop the hot perspex from cooling to fast.

Prob is we cant find a supplier out here in China without knowing what the actual material is, can get it shipped out from UK but it will cost a fortune !
