Selection of Input Circuit Breaker

Please guide me technical parameters while selecting input main air circuit breaker like 3 pole or 4 pole (3p+N), no of protections etc...

The technical parameters for circuit breaker selection are:

i) Rated Voltage

ii) Rated Current

iii) Rated Ultimate Short Circuit Breaking Current

iv) Rated Service Short Circuit Breaking Current

v) Rated Short Circuit Making Current

vi) Rated Short Time Withstand Current

vii) Utilisation Category

viii) Type of Protection Release

ix) Settings in protection releases

x) Discrimination
