ISAAT 2007-International Grinding Conference

05/31/2007 10:32 AM

I have just received an email about a conference that SME Society of Manufacturing Engineers is putting on and as a new marketing employee I wanted to know what companies were planning to attend--

I'm planning to suggest that we exhibit--International Grinding Conference

Please look at the link and tell me what you think--I need an honest answer because this helps my job and my company.

I'm not a marketer, but the conference looks interesting.

The fact that SME is working with JSAT (japan society for abrasive tech.) and ICAT (international committee for abras. tech) will probably make for a good audience and good body of knowledge to be shared.

Dear Guest.

What is it that your company produces sells or purchases?

How is grinding relevant to these?

SME is a good group, but if you sell ice cream, I would not recommend that you go.

Even though you could grind up the oreos to go in the sundaes.

You should be able to get an attendee list from SME. the signed up exhibitors to date can be found here:

The Hyatt is a nice property. I have put two conferences on there myself. But it is dark. Paper airplane hang time contests from the upper floors are strongly discouraged by management.
