In 1978, I worked for Safety Electrical Equipment Corp. I was Sectary to the President, and assistant to the Personnel Director. I know that we were purchased by Stone Corp. we were moved to the Carolinas. What has become of the company?

Not much to work with.

A quick search found nothing.

That was 35 years ago, who knows?

Really? Why would you bother to nitpick about an obvious typo? For starters professor, your capitalization really sucks.

Ahh.. my Brave Sir Robin, a night in tarnished armour who knows not the difference between capitalization & highlighting, methinks!

Doth one challenge me to a battle of wit and words? I prey you heed, as the Queens English is my mother tongue and you doth utter words and spellings that are not from the mother land, you will surely succumb to my stronger wit and intellect. I pray you note your warning!

You may have as your avatar a picture of a Monty Python actor in costume, and that what it is, a costume! Do you always try and come to the rescue of dyslexic posters, or is it you just cannot understand the irony of someone posting they were the 'sectary to the president' yet cannot either either use spell check, or proof read what they have typed.

I find that VERY strange.. hence my question, whats one of those.

So my good night in tarnished armour.... and for your information armour is spelt with a 'U'.... mount your steed and go forth into the sunset to find another damsel in dyslexia (or without spell check)!!

ps.. I purposely spelt night without the 'K'.... just so we are clear!!

The irony was not lost on me. Trust me. You are simply petty. And pompous. Nite.

I humbly beg to differ with regards to your lack of understanding of irony...

Tarnished is just another way of saying "dull".

Did you write either twice; when there's no reason to; as a deliberate mistake as well?

The way I see it, you add nothing of any value or substance. Quite frankly my dear, I don't give a damn about what you think. OK? Should you decide to respond, I won't see it because I will be unsubscribing from this thread. I understand you are truly a superior being with keen intellect and so it would be futile for me to even consider dueling such an adversary.

After all, I am Brave Sir Robin: ". . . bravely turned his tail and fled."

While I will to defer to English Rose on all matters of grammar and punctuation, my take on this is that the original post, grammar, spelling and capitalization mistakes already in place, was in essence a quotation. Therefore, no modification to the original statement is allowed.
