I agree. Posting anything here is already typically under a pseudonym. Allowing trolls to anonymously break our etiquette rules without the possibility of accurate social ridicule leads quickly to possible false accusations. I think the only method anonymous posting should be allowed is through an administrator. There have been far more abuses from anonymous posting here at CR4 than the few valid incidents where anonymity was understandable.

I don't know of any other forums that have the ability to post as an anonymous member. Everywhere else what ever you post has your avatar and screen name by it which I for one like.

It makes everyone think a bit about what they are posting. Whether they care or not that a different issue.

For a long time I have favored retaining an anonymous capability, subject to some restrictions. There are a few legitimate uses. However, I am moving more and more toward eliminating the anonymity. But then, I think user profiles should be required to have real names and locations.

Personally I rather like clubbing feeding the trolls. It's sort of a relaxing sport for me.

It always disappoints me when they stop taking my feed though. I wonder if it's because they can taste the other ground up trolls that went before them that I put in it?

I feed birds like parrots, pigeons, sparrows, crows daily. Only crows cause nuisance to me. Feeding others birds I rather enjoy.

in the back yard from four different feeding stations: sparrows, finches, juncos, chickadees, crows, bluejays, scrub jays, bushtits, western tanagers, robins, towhees, Three types of hummingbirds. plus some I am sure I am forgetting. no seagulls allowed.

I feed sunflower seeds in two of the stations, humming birds get one and I put dried grubs and worms in the last one. I hang thistle seeds from under one of the sunflower seed holders.

I try really hard to not feed the squirrels but they get some. I had a squirrel learn how to empty the humming bird feed by hanging from its back feed but I stopped that with 24vac therapy.
