There seems to be a problem here.

No response and my PC is locking up.

I have been experiencing periodic slowness/outage issues with CR4 this week. I've asked someone to look into the cause of the problem.

If the page freezes, try refreshing; sometimes it'll come back up. I have lost quite a few new threads/replies so I strongly recommend either typing your post in another location or copying the text before you try to submit.
