Dear All
I am looking for ideas to make a simple/inexpensive water pressure switch/sensor that can detect someone opening a water tap. Max water pressure is 600 Kpa with taps closed. Water temperature would be in the range 5 to 80 degrees C.
Ideally I would like to measure the actual pressure or extent of any pressure drop but otherwise simply that a tap has been opened which may be the easier option.
The device can be inserted inline or in a T junction in the pipe to measure pressure.
The sensor / switch would be input to a MCU so a digital or analogue output would be required.
Any ideas - both mechanical and electronic please?
Thanks and regards
Mike
