New Anti-Telemarketing Technology

09/13/2005 4:55 PM

Thinking of heading home for the day? Dreading those annoying, dinner-hour calls from telemarketers? Well, there may be a device on the market that you'd like to test drive. The Telecrapper 2000 (TC2K) identifies incoming telemarketing calls and ensnares the caller in a maddening, software-driven conversation in order to keep them on the line as long as possible. The TC2K may not succeed in making telemarketing an unprofitable business, but you may get to enjoy your meal while frustrated telemarketers get indigestion for a change.
