07/28/2013 4:34 AM

LDPE is used to shrink wrap pallet and thickness is 80,and 140 micron
currently we are using micro meter to check thickness but i have doubt that this is not the right tester to check microns?

Have you looked into Alpha thickness gauges?

GA JohnDG. Beta Ray monitoring was most commonly used in poly film manufacturing. These units were to monitor most sensitive thickness films like bread wrap or milk bag films. Alarms would sound when an extrusion process slipped. Very accurate systems.

If you only knew how to search the internet.

You could type "dry film thickness gauge" into a search engine and have your answer.

Do change that keyboard. Some of the keys are not working.

I think every second key was missing on that keyboard. It makes me wonder why CR4 has forum posts set up so the poster can preview them before they are submitted, apparently people don't use it.
