Rail Standards

What does rail section 60R refer to??

I am aware of ISCR 60, 60 kg (UIC) rails sectons.

So to which standard does 60R rail section refer to?

Is this flatbottom or bullhead section?

If it is bullhead, the answer may be found in British Standard 9.

BS11: 1985 (British Standard). 29.882 kg/m. Similar to ASCE standard 60 lb/yd rail but not quite! :-)

it corresponds to mentioned BS code.

lookin into the weight as per IS 3443, it relates to CR50 (29.8 kg/m)
