Borewell Water Sample Question

I would like to know what would be the tests that need to done on a borewell water sample to check and analyise borewell water quality.

Simply collect 1ltr of water in clean bottle and ask lab to test it to confirm the requirement of Potable water.

Normaly they test for Hadness, cloride and suspended and desolved solids.

I don't know how much accurate the above comment is and Iam not sure u are looking for this answer!!

Well, the World Health Organisation lists the sort of criteria applicable to potable water, and it is there that the next Google search needs to begin.

For drinking water safety, a test for coliform bacteria count is standard. TDS, pH and hardness could affect industrial applications as well as drinking water quality.

if you want to select a submersible pump,send full water analysis report to pump manufacturer.
