one can handle 600 KVA load and use the second as backup or sell it.

One TF will do for your load. But, I would suggest to alternate between your two transformers at regular intervals. This will ensure uniform aging of both the trf's.

Him again!

Having read this guys past questions it begs the question. "Who in their right mind would let him near a transformer!"

Good thing I write everything in Word, I can recall documents and reword them.

Really you need the transformer test data losses, no-load and full load. You are not clear if 600 kVA is constant 24h/day.

Guess based on 2% losses, half no-load (magnetising), is 12.3 kW total at 600 kVA for 1 transfo, but 15 kW magnetising alone for two transfo in parallel.

Suggestion to alternate service is good advise.

What does transfo rating plate give you, anything about losses?

Over to you....
