Looks good. Some bloke on there says there are huge problems getting the power to the mainland...

I was thinking maybe sort of long ropey structures would work, specially if they had some sort of conductive inner layer? Maybe if the are Conductive and they enable the carrying of power the could be called some sort of portmanteau word?

How about "Cables" ?

looking at the 22 meter tall blades of a turbine, I wonder how it can be anchored, not to close to either the surface or the ocean floor. cabled down, but with floats to hold it off the floor?
