HAI. THIS IS AVINASH.I AM DOING A PROJECT ON THE SOLAR ELECTRICAL BICYCLE.SO PLZ SUGGEST ME HOW MUCH HP MOTOR IS REQUIRED FOR BEARING THE 90 KG OF A PERSON AND HOW MUCH SOLAR PANEL IS REQURIED AND HOW MUCH BATTERY IS ALSO REQUIRED.PLZ SUGGEST SOME IDEAS.I THINK AS FAST AS POSSIBLE U VIL RESPOND TO MY QUESTION.

Think again...

I think you should do your own homework!

Do your own homework. CR4 is not a homework cheat site; however, if you have questions about understanding concepts or how a portion of a problem is derived, these types of questions will be accepted.

Internet etiquette says you vil not type in ALL CAPS. It's rude.

First, you should learn that posting in all capital letters is considered SHOUTING. Shouting for no apparent, good reason is considered rude.

Second, this is supposed to be your project not our project. You must do your own work. I do have a few suggestions for you to do this work. If I was to do this project, I would start by identifying how much power does a person on a bicycle create. You can do this by your own testing methods or you could look this information up. Next I would consider the choice of will this electric motor assist a human on a bike or will it provide all mechanical power. Scale your motor kinematic desires accordingly. Then comes the question of the range of your travel, this will determine the number and size of your batteries. You may find that you will have to resize the motor with the added battery weight you will haul.

This sound engineering approach will take considerable time and thought to complete but I showed you here a good place to start.

Good Luck

You left out the aerodynamic implications of putting a solar panel on a bicycle.

It'll act just like a sail, so some thought must be put into the positioning and orientation of the sail solar panel relative to the prevailing wind.

Yes, depending on how the solar array is intended to be used there will be complications with wind and orientation. My assumption was that the array will be deployed only while the bicycle was parked. Unlike the solar car challenge there is a practicality advantage of doing a solar bicycle of the rider providing additional power.

I think a wind generator is a better idea.
