Mechanical Projects

I need to submit a project for a scholarship examination conducted by IISc ,Bangalore.Can anyone suggest a simple project on mechanical engineering field in Production/manufacturing stream .

optimization of electro discharge machining process will be a good deal. it's not too difficult. there are several parameters that influence the edm process,i.e. type of fluid electrolyte, material of workpiece and electrode, polarization and others. you can optimize those with a method called taguchi method.

u can just go for an simple milling attachment for lathe

u can ask a person called subramani who is the sentific officer of ur branch in ur collage
