I'm considering setting a dead stump in my back yard on fire. Video at 11:00.

OK, I'm watching it, too. That thing is really flying.

The link comes up but shows no data... shows the orbit (I guess it is the orbit) but not where the bird is at.

-----------------

Never mind... the data shows now. Weird... sowed nothing the 1st 3 times I went to the link.

It was just over Africa when I looked a moment ago. The same place it was shown to be 15 minutes prior. Hardly screaming along. (maybe its already downed and the link has stopped up dating.

The bird's position is shown as a graphic with a close resemblance to the actual spacecraft.

The orbital track seems to be mostly over water, and low population land areas for now, but that will change with each orbit as it has an inclined polar orbit.

I might look again in an hour.

It's not moving because it came down.

I just heard that news on the BBC here at linch time.

Still, why couldn't the "real time" tracking show the actual debris field and where it finally plonked into the Pacific Ocean?

Who is going to clean up the mess?

Throw a beer bottle potential crab's home, into the sea and all manner of grief awaits you. Drop an SUV from the sky and nobody seems to care.
