Try searching the "Yellow Pages" for contractors in your area. If you don't have a printed form of the "Yellow Pages", use the internet to find one.
As for choosing the "best electrical repair", you must first decide if you are really ready to pay for that. My guess is that you will be willing to take something less than the best. In many cases, when the "best" guy shows up, he may turn YOU down. That could simply be due to sub-standard wiring all around what it is that you want to repair. If he agrees to perform only your "repair" then he may find himself on very thin ice. Let's say he does the work, and then a week later the building burns to the ground. Who caused it? Was it really a good job to take? Of course not.
The moral of this story is, "Be careful what you ask for, because you just might get it!".
