Ventilation Fan

Dear all friends

I am looking for the formula of centrifugal fan design :

Flow rate : 800l/s

SP : 300 pascal

Please give me an advise.

Check GreenHeck fan selection data that is available in a large variety or other standard make fan data/curves available in your area. This will be a within 1HP fan

You've given the main parameters a supplier needs to select a fan, assuming SP is the pressure rise (not suction pressure). If not you need to specify pressure rise.

Also helpful to give inlet pressure and temperature, and gas density. If you don't give these he's likely to assume atmospheric pressure, ambient temperature (say 15°C) and air.

0.5HP (half HP) motor would suffice

BHP=cfmxSP(inches)/6356/fan efficiency (0.75say)

OK if SP is the pressure rise. OP hasn't confirmed. If so I don't know what the S stands for.
