DC Drive Conversion

Can i run DCS500 drive ( ABB) with control board CON-4(DCS800) , if yes then what parameter and hardware required to change

The only accurate source of that type of information is ABB. Although others may have experience with those part numbers; interchangeability of the boards may depend upon hardware, software and firmware revision levels, things that only the OEM can verify.

Upgrading the drive would depend largely on the HP of the drive. Under 400HP it is not worth your time or energy.

For retrofitting larger drives http://www.asi-ltd.ca/products/InterfaceBrochure.pdf

so it is quite possible.
