If you knew How to Search the Internet - Hannon Library as JohnDG said you could independently find How heavy is a copper core per mtr/per mm2 without the insulation ...

Really, it's no more difficult than it was to find this site!

Homework? Might be.

Sounded more like someone who has come across a quantity of wire (by means and methods unknown), and wants to know about how much money he might get from a scrapyard.

300mm? YIKES! According to the info I have, this is the largest available solid copper wire size... wonder where he scored some of that?

Any train (or RTS) delays round your/his way?

BTW - UK scrap copper wire fetches about £3.50/kg. CBA to work out price/metre for this guy.

Ironically, unless the OP has learned How to Search the Internet - Hannon Library he probably still doesn't have his answer.

Well I don't know what that size copper cable weighs, but it weighs about twice what aluminum cable does....

I goggled "weights of metric wires" to get the answers. It came up with 11,100,000 answers in 0.39 seconds. Those are better odds than that test you are taking and want help on.
