You might be looking in the wrong place here, Boss. Trade directories would be a better bet.

There are companies right in Bangalore / India. Avoid foreign companies- preferably.

Thank you "xyz" for the support. Please let us know some specific adresses. Also, we need to inform that we are invloved in a Gvt-to-Gvt support venture, wherein we have to partner with one UK company/manufacturer to get support for the R&D works involved. Why not partner with a university? They may be more than willing to go beyond just licensing a technology to you if you become an extension of their discoveries. If you have a couple of Chemical/Mechanical Engineering grads trained in a software such as Comsol Multiphysics then they may be able to help you weed out technologies that will not fit to your objectives and hone in on the ones that have a chance.

Very interesting comment- as far as India is concerned - industry tie-up with educational institution is very uncommon.Projects of Commercial value may not be handled with necessary secrecy, Time frames are not adhered to in educational institutions and facilities in educational institutes may not be available etc. Further- even after getting necessary knowledge from the educational institution- the industry has to put in lot more effort to make it commercially viable - and this is where Indian companies hesitate and look for ready cooked solutions (I personally am for putting hard work in personally developing rather tahn looking for outside support. This personal development gives much in-depth information and may lead to many byproducts never imagined before).

I have always felt a huge differences in approach between Indian companies in India and foreign companies. That is why Indian industry always lags behind for ever- it is a question of attitude.
