Trouble Continues with Pictures and Drawings

02/23/2014 1:53 PM

I can no longer post any drawings, pictures, jpegs, pngs,....nothing but text.

Nothing has changed that I know of on or inside the computer. This has been bothering me for weeks now.

Any suggestions?

The last time I installed Chrome, it played havoc with my converting Auto CAD into WORD and PDF . There is something haunting this computer and no one, seems to know what it is. It runs perfectly well, but it does not "play well with others".

Every now and then I can paste directly from my Documents...every now and then....No rhyme or reason for it acting up.

Not my area of expertise.

So, how would I use Chrome just form this site? How would you suggest I set that up?

Thank you.

Just download the chrome browser and use it to access the cr4 site, make a shortcut once you log in, and save it to your desktop....Use that shortcut to access the cr4 site, and use what ever other browser you are using for everything else...anytime you download a browser it asks if you want to make it the default browser, just select "no"...

This haunted box would have nothing to do with Chrome.

Nothing came up that let me SEND TO or MAKE A SHORTCUT.... nothing like I am used to seeing for making the short cut you suggested.

I will just have to sit this out until I find out why Internet Explorer and Windows 7 has this issue. I am telling, there is "Ghost" or a Gris-gris in this machine! I might have to get some red brick dust out of the shed.

Thank you anyway.

Try Ctrl R. That's a hard refresh.

I'm using Opera and also Slim Browser.

With Opera, I can't use sub/superscript function. I go to SB if I need that.

I also loaded Flashpeak SlimBoat a cousin of SlimBrowser. Haven't used it much.

What does Admin say?

They're way out, man.

I became a fan of them after listening to Hub Cap and the Wheels.

ADMIN. said to look at Chrome or Firefox.

A screen keeps coming up that asks if I want to allow my Clipboard to access this site. I press yes, but still nothing.

I am just paranoid about changing things on this machine as I had issues before when I tried to tamper with the inner workings. I am NOT skilled enough for that.

I access numerous sites and send jpegs, gif, png, and video clips in my quotes and even in my How-To Brochures for setting up the nets and gear.... no problem. This just started with CR4 a few months back and I am sure it is on MY end.

Maybe my Kasperksy AV settings or the firewall????

I'll wait it out and see if someone comes up with an Internet Explorer windows7 fix.

Thank you all.

I go to PAINT.

I hit the PASTE FROM selection.

I get it , then I copy it.

I go back to CR4 and right click, I get a box that says :close menu.

I close it.

Then I right click and paste come up.

I paste it in. It works! the pic comes up on the CR4 REPLY box, as usual.

BUT........then I go to Submit and the box says, " too long of a running script". . . . . . . . and shuts down. I am at a loss.

I haven't tried going directly from paint, I save first and then pull it up from the folder. I use firefox exclusively. I save first because the original on paint got screwed up a few times.

OK. I am running on CHROME. It just sits on my Toolbar and it isn't ID'ed as my Default anything.

I'll run with it for few days just sitting on the computer and see what happens.

Thank you all. I will post my original question in another topic box.
