We've been trying to get rid of it for two days.

Looks like it might not be an in-house (our house) issue.

Back in the 80's they had highlighters that smelled like bubble gum....... Or maybe that was permanent markers......

Anyways, when you talked to the girls at work you'd noticed they all had colored (highlighter) mustaches under their noses. Very hard to keep a straight face....... And no, I didn't have a highlighter mustache.

HIGHLIGHTER marking is the visual emphasis equivalent of AUDIO shouting.

Could you please explain, 'what do you mean by highlighter usage? Highlighted texts I have seen in many books for the easy picking of the content for the viewers (those who do not know the subject written in the book or Those who do not have the capability to understand the subject written in the book) and readers (Those who capable to understand the subject after reading or during reading). I could not understand, what do you mean by 'highlighting'..
