Special Fabric

03/04/2014 11:38 AM

I look for special fabric which should be suitable for covering of surfaces of devices and accessories. The fabric texture should be very fine, but a good air-permeability should be ensured.
The summary of main features the fabric material should have:
flame retardant
heat-stable (until 100°C), should Work in any climate
non-conductive
air-permeable
should Withstand mildew and dust
tear-resistant (stretch)
dimensionally stable
opaque - non transparent material
ecofriendly

I would appreciate any links or tips to this topic.

My first answer would be leatherette, but I am unaware of flame retardant products there.

If you want truly opaque material, I'd suggest drapery blackout lining, but I don't know how it's other properties meet your needs.
