I found no such company registered in USA under name "American Electronic Ceramics".

There was this American Technical Ceramics Corp.for which mouser sells parts. Looks like this AEC is some kind of back door misleading company or I just don't know where it is. In India part under this name are being sold for many years for now. The Thailand company also has this name but has different LOGO and products so it does not look like from Thailand. Perhaps someone in Hong kong or Taiwan may have invented this name and there is no address printed on the package anywhere.

Exactly. I have been searching sites and eliminating them by logo comparison.

Hopefully another contributor has better luck. I will continue.

A search for "aec logo" found hundreds of images but none match there either.

The print on the package is here. It is somewhat clear. I removed parts and scanned it.

I have many packets of different values of capacitance from 15pF to 0.1uF and all packets have same print except for value and voltage rating.

I contacted tech support at Newark Electronics.

They pointed me at Aritec as well but could not be certain.

We suspect either the logo has been updated or the old company does not exist.

Suppliers such as Newark, Digikey, Mouser, and allied electric all have resources on line to help. Many of them have on line chat for tech support.

I would go there, if you cant find the same then you will have to settle for an equal.

Perhaps use the Airtec email supplied by ozzb to ask them if it is their logo.

One company said they have these parts and can supply. I will call them and will know the real story tomorrow if they at all know.

AEC looks like a short initial name of code. These parts look like from gray market with no name of the manufacturer.

I am buying 10000 parts tomorrow and I am sure they will come in pack of 1000 with same print which I have received 10 years ago, yet I have no idea of the manufacturer as I will again get these parts from a trader.

I found these two addresses but I am sure they are only traders. I am buying these parts from another reliable person so will ask for details.

Looks like a "third-party" vendor that buys bulk components and resells them to a customer base.

I would think that as long as the capacitors or other components you need are properly sized and within tolerance it wouldn't make any difference which manufacturer you purchase them from.

I will caution you though that the component quality varies significantly from manufacturer and country of origin when compared to others.

SHOCKHISCAN:

I have not found any great problem with these parts but there is no brand name, company name and address and any catalog so it is too risky at time to use it in safety related devices. I am right now using these in educational electronics and I also do all testing so I feel it may be all right to use them.

These parts cost only 0.002$ / each to me so they are very cheap and I am tempted to use then in comparison with branded items that cost 10 times higher.

Another good thing is that TC of these capacitors is high so they can be used as good temperature sensors like Thermistors. For high temperature stability I prefer to use COG / NPO 30ppm/oC types. Sometime I use X7R or similar types for noise filtering in power supplies but I buy them only from known manufacturers.
